Neil Gaiman’s Hugo 2012 Acceptance Speech

This speech was lifted from the full audio recording made of the Hugo Ceremony because Neil Gaiman (@neilhimself)  indicated on his blog that due to the robots pulling down the Hugo Ceremony from UStream, his speech was not streamed out to the world so the world missed how he stated Doctor Who officially conquered the world and more specifically the category of Dramatic Presentation – Short Form of the Hugos.

    Thank you so much for posting this! I was one of the many victims of that stupid copyright bot & am grateful that I finally get to hear Neil’s speech in full. Cheers!

      I was in the press section and I saw many video cameras, hopefully video of the speech will be available online soon.

    Is the “full audio recording” available online? I’d like to hear some of the other acceptance speeches as well.

      The full audio version isn’t available yet. I was holding off because rumors were the full video was going to be made available. Tonight I’ll run all the audio through the clean up process and provide a link to it for those who are interested since it seems the video version won’t be online soon.
